The decision to create the company Aerower International Management and to produce the Jumper1 was not an easy one, nor is it the result of any desire for personal recognition. Above all, that decision was taken by me and my initial team out of a genuine vocation to serve a community hungry for fresh air, new advances and new ways of understanding the relationships between everyone who is part of this world (business directors, users, customers, gyms, instructors, distributors, brand ambassadors, technicians, designers, sales people, publicists, etc.)
As an industrial, graphic and multimedia designer and programmer, I have taken part in the launch and/or development of several business projects in a wide range of sectors. The one I have devoted the most time and effort to has been, precisely, jumpers (or rebound shoes), where I have had my greatest satisfactions, but also my greatest misfortunes. Satisfactions such as having developed the Kangoo Jumps brand, its products and patents since 1998. Misfortunes such as the death of its founder, partner and friend, Denis Naville, in 2012. That event led first to a decline and then, with Aerower, to a resurgence of the spirit of innovation, service, enthusiasm and ambition in the still embryonic universe of rebound exercise.
The role I have had to play in this story is not, and I do not want it to be, that of the protagonist, but that of witness, director and, now, producer. So that everything works the way most of you want it to work. It is good to have competition, both internal and external, but healthy and positive competition, so that initiatives arise and opportunities to improve are not lost. One thing I want to make clear: competitiveness must not get in the way of friendship, much less of courtesy and respect. I have no problem going out for a drink with anyone who has not lost those last two values I mentioned.
If you are new to this sector, do not be frightened by what you have read above; it is more than twenty years of history. I invite you to find out about the benefits of practising this discipline of sport in general, rebound exercise, and the versatility offered by our product in particular, the Aerower Jumper1.. To make it easier to practise and extend its use to everyone, I sought help from the best coaches and trainers specialising in rebound exercise with jumpers to create our second brand, Jumple, since, I admit, that is work that is beyond my skills. Jumple is a brand and academic structure devoted to the training, management and dissemination of training programmes. What I want from these programmes is a variety and excellence that allow them to adapt to the different needs and preferences of as many users as possible without undermining the quality and safety of the practice. Everything for health!
If you already know this discipline and have experience, you will see that in Aerower lies the next leap in the evolution of this sector. Here you will find that genuine spirit that was lost in the sector when it stagnated because of the ineptitude and greed of certain figures from the past. The continuity of a path that is beneficial for everyone and, at the same time, the incorporation of fresh ideas with everyone’s participation, is our main objective. That is also why I wanted Jumple to become a brand of training and training programmes more focused on the discipline itself than on the product. That is why we allow the use of other product brands in our classes and also other training programmes in our team, thus removing barriers to a gradual incorporation into our family. Today, thanks to the feedback from those who have come to us, I can already say that Aerower and Jumple have made us believe again in an optimistic future for the sector.
In the development phase of our first of many jumpers, I have built into the product the improvements users have been asking for and, in addition, new ideas matured over years, together with the latest technological advances and materials available today. Thanks to this I am proud to have managed to give jumpers the best jumping experience, thanks to their balance and progressive travel. In Europe I have found the best production platform, with the quality standards I was looking for and which, quite frankly, I believe you deserve.
I have maintained and demanded the same attitude from my team in creating the programmes and the training system. That is why I brought in Merce Sebastiá as Training Director since she is a great professional with a lot of experience and great ideas but, above all, a better person who knows how to reconcile everyone’s interests. In our programmes we have taken special care to highlight the healthiest postural and exercise-execution habits, following the advice of fitness experts and physiotherapists, as well as the recommendations of scientific studies.
I currently hold the position of General Manager and head of the R&D&I area at Aerower International Management, but I invite you to contact us without obligation, so that you can see the closeness, both mine and my team’s, that we offer you at all times.
I hope to see you all soon, and I wish you enjoy jumping... always!
